The budget of the State of Cameroon for the year 2023 aims the broadening of tax base, the stabilization of the national economy weaked by the war in Ukraine, continue the post-Covid 19 economic recovery plan, continuation of the presidential plan for the reconstruction of economically devastated areas (North-West, South-West and Far-North), improvement of the tax yield of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), the promotion of local production, the development of agricultural sector, the improvement of the industries of the pharmaceutical sector.
In order to achieve its targets, the government is relying in particular on forecasts of tax and customs revenue, which at first glance indicates an increase in tax pressure and a broadening of the tax base with the main objective of continuing to revive economic activity in 2023.
In order to enable you to control the tax and financial risks linked to the broadening of the tax base and the increase in the tax burden and to take better advantage of the new tax advantages offered by the legislator, the firm DM & Partners member of HLB ACP Central Africa, organizes as part of its activities training and information sessions on the following topic
Finance Law 2023 : Relative lightening in the tax burden of corporations
This workshop will be organized in Douala on the 3rd of February 2023 at the amphitheater of the GICAM headquarters building.
